I got the rare opportunity to image one of this quality, and figured it was worth the share. A few have seen the grade, so feel free to share initial opinions or to refrain until the reveal. A video link is included below, and I highly recommend taking a look.

Good luck!

I'll refrain from guessing but it is just a watery, liquid smooth coin. Really just a wonderful example of Barber coinage; I doubt that there are many nicer Barbers of any type anywhere.

What a beauty! Most likely a proof. I'll guess 68

In simple terms can you explain why this coin can be pictured two different ways.

The top set of images is standard lighting, which shows the contrast and the way the coin appears in most conditions.

The bottom set is axial lighting, which shows the fields when you would tilt them into the light. The color shows through in those shots.

Style of photographic lighting. Basically you use the reflection of a lamp off of a piece of glass to illuminate the coin.

I already know the grade, but I'll just say I love the coin, and the photos are fantastic....

I'm sure the grade has been guessed. I just wanted to chime in and say what a beautiful piece of history. I'm looking for one for my box of 20. I'm sure it won't look like this. Someone is very fortunate.
