I am starting to wonder if retail demand is weaker than we realize. WMT.COM charges a marketplace fee in addition to the CC fee - figure 6% combined. Plus shipping - they are 'losing' money on these sales, but is it the best offer they have?

My local B&Ms are $75 back on gold Eagles, $1over on ASEs and 50 cents back on generic. Every one will tell you they would rather not buy as little is going out...

My local will not buy pre-33 gold (Prefers not to)... When I last spoke he only wanted a roll of 20 franc Roosters I had...
I have a long standing relationship with him... So, for me, a true indication of my local area.

We just sold 9 20$ TPG graded Double Eagles (mix of St. Gaudens and Liberties) and we took 3k per coin... Sold .999 at 8% back and sold some Mexican Gold at 5% back... Guy who bought it was "scared" of getting stuck with it and did not want to pay up. I adivised leaving but the guy who I was helping needed the cash.. So took the deal. He was up 50% or better in almost all of the stuff so it was not "leaving money on the table" to him.

100 2025 silver maples will currently cost you $3650 at the bullion exchanges website. BE is one of the lowest price sellers around. One must wonder why they are selling so low through Walmart.

Concerning selling to retailers, they don't normally like to buy at high prices. IMHO they will wish they bought at these prices just like they wished they had bought more when gold was at an all time high of $2500. I don't believe prices are at a peak, they are a trend that will continue for the foreseeable future.

Well you did follow my clearly identified personal opinion with "love hearing the anecdotal reports." Should one not take the word "anecdotal" as an insult? Or maybe you just don't know the meaning of the words you use.

Yeah, you totally took that the wrong way and one should not take my comment as an insult. I truly do hearing of folks personal experiences in dealings with PMs. Perhaps you may even be better served by hearing actual experiences than propaganda newsletter drivel filled with unscientific and non-factual narrative.

Talking above about buy/sell prices, well-respected dealer at a monthly local show had AGEs at 3310 / 3410, Buffs at 3380 / 3480, and AGEs 1/10oz selling at 370.

Another dealer had JM and Engelhard 10oz bars for 370.

Due to the recent rapid runup in gold prices, many independent small sellers are selling at low premiums because they bought at low prices and are willing to enjoy their large profit with less premium. This approach has worked for me. no need to get greedy with high premiums.

Platinum Maples are showing available again at the $1077.16 price. They also are showing the 1oz lunar dragons in stock again at $3305 with spot currently $3380. $75 under before the CC rewards. Get it before they fix the pricing error. RGDS!

    Don't buy coins from Walmart.com
They let 3rd party retailers do fraud. They sell real coins directly next to fake coins for the same price.
Walmart.com is just too perilous to buy bullion/coins from.
Serious warning, don't do anything serious on Walmart.com.

Llamas and alpacas are camels. They aren't like camels, or related. They are camels. When was anyone going to tell me this?! How long had Bill Nye been holding out on us?

LOL, everything I have posted in this thread ships directly from Bullion Exchanges. They are one of the largest precious metal dealers on the planet and do not sell fake coins. Please stop with the misinformation. THKS!

Too expensive for me but 100 Eagles at $37.29 each. Spot is $36.69 so current premium only .60 cents over. Lunar snakes currently under spot. RGDS!
