Shop at Genung's and Save token with George Washington
I discovered the token below in my collection. When I can only find references in subscription-only Worthpoint auctions, I have to believe it's not a super common token. I did an exhaustive search and could not find more complete info on the following specimen. Does this look familiar to anyone? Pointers welcome...

The obverse design with George Washington can be found on several other tokens. I imagine the reverse design can be ordered with anything you want, e.g. Genung's etc.
From the Google machine:
"Genung's Department Store on Main Street was part of a chain based in White Plains." They had locations in NYC and elsewhere.
Your token was very possibly issued by them, presumably in the 1930s based on the anniversary date on the token.
I'm not necessarily sold on the Worthpoint agle as a sign of rarity. As far as I know, Worthpoint stores auction results from a variety of sources, including eBay, which itself only reflects results for a limited time. If it was particularly valuable then it might have shown up at auction houses and therefore also been available there in search results. But all that is just a guess.
