Ticket Stub grading - Concerts

Would probably go just ‘Authentic’ with these. Looks like they do that. Any thoughts otherwise ?

I assume this is for a PC as I'm not sure that there would be any value here (unless like someone bit the head off a bat or something that night!). Condition is probably 2/3 to 5, so Auth would make more sense.
They seem to grade tickets REALLY hard. (This one below looked really nice to me and only got a 6.) I would say a 3 is the best you're getting on any of those. The writing on most of them will hurt, too. So yeah, if you're set on slabbing them, I'd just go Auth.
Those are cool. I wish I could have seen Zeppelin SO BAD.
Wow! It looks like ASU was the place to be in 1976/77.
They are graded just like cards, so your ticket def has PSA 6 corners, and possibly some surface stuff.

My man, if you think one of the OP's tickets could be a 5 but this is correctly graded as a 6, I don't know what to tell you.
I wasn't looking that closely, didn't want to crap on the poor guy, I think if the middle one didn't have the ink, it could be a 5,. but yes they are pretty much crap.
What’s with the discoloration in the middle of most of the tickets? Is that some kind of adhesive on the back leaking through? A stamp of some sort when they admitted you or when you left the concert (for re-entry)?
Jim
BTW: $8 in 1977 is roughly $42 dollars today. Can you imagine only paying $42 to see these bands today??
Now you're lucky to get a concert shirt for $42.
And yes PSA grades tickets very strict. I just recently purchased this gem. Master of Reality tour. What I like about this ticket besides the grade, is the color of the ticket matches the Master of Reality album cover.

A 7 is actually pretty lucky with the bottom creasing.....
The discoloration in the middle of those tickets ? Why that is scotch tape bleed through from the 40 years of having them taped in to a photo album
Doing that, along with writing the opening band names on the tickets was done, way back then, because I knew, looking far forward in time, there would be this grading thing, and there would be a day when I could help a poor guy named Rufus be able to mock something else in life other than his own mirror, and get the stubs encased authentic.
Must be the pic because there are no creases.

I don't even see it in the pic. I think someone just wanted to shit on a really sweet ticket.
Were these all in a scrapbook? Does that explain the residue in the middle of each ticket?
The only one I'd consider grading would be Zepplin. And even then I dunno if that's worth it. You're looking at $300 in shipping/grading fees for shows of no significance. Even for big bands, they have played a thousand shows. Unless something historic happened, I'd leave em be.
Keep em card savers, or top loaders. I saved nearly every ticket from every event I've ever attended, and 99% of them will never sniff PSA.
Yep, just call me the big pooper!!!

You went to the cert page to try and prove me wrong! LOLOLOL! Ok dude, you win. Gold star for you.
Umm, no, I went to the cert page when the owner posted a pic of the ticket cause I was curious why it only got a 7, you were not part of the impetus, just collateral damage !
7 is a great grade for a ticket imo. It didnt get higher because of corner wear. Those lines at the bottom look like wrinkles in the picture, but they are actually just smears from the ticket touching the case. Only way you can tell is by looking at it in person.
