I come here to see what ya'll are doing....
Retired from buying, and still enjoy this forum every day. Haven't bought a coin now in at least a year. Feels weird to be lurking!!
Anyone else in my boat?

I've slowed way down... I took a new job last Fall and haven't made any significant purchase since Baltimore last Summer. I'll be going again in June to look for a few raw coins to complete a couple of lower end sets and maybe something for the Box of 20. I also need to submit a few coins to our hosts...
Successful BST transactions with: SilverEagles92; Ahrensdad; Smitty; GregHansen; Lablade; Mercury10c; copperflopper; whatsup; KISHU1; scrapman1077, crispy, canadanz, smallchange, robkool, Mission16, ranshdow, ibzman350, Fallguy, Collectorcoins, SurfinxHI, jwitten, Walkerguy21D, dsessom.
Not yet but getting there. All I collect now are key and semi-key higher grade Lincoln Wheat cents.

I'm pretty selective about what I'm buying.
I buy what I like but I'm far from a heavy collector
It's been a year since I bought a Larger piece of gold.
Probably over paid as for spot gold price but it's vintage and low mintage...2 fine attributes to what I like
Okay, you’ve got me curious. What was your final coin purchase?
Same here. Forced retirement with bad knees so social security income stopped my buying about 3 years ago. Still enjoy what I have and reading the forums tho'.

Perhaps a silver eagle would be my guess as I finished my set to 2024.
I've bought a couple barber dimes, all in circulated, and some junk silver this year. Probably not more than 100 bucks in purchases.
I seem to be going in the opposite direction from bob, @AUandAG. For the past 3 years my purchasing of quality material has steadily increased. I am now at the point where, if there’s a coin I see, and I’m interested in and is within 10% + or- of price guide, I buy it.
I miss your offerings on BST @AUandAG !
I may have quit buying but I'm not done selling! Someday I'll be putting more up for sure.

Hey Bob,
Good to see you. I mostly just lurk here now. Sold 90% of the collection & haven’t bought anything for a while. It’s still interesting though. Maybe I’ll jump back in sometime. I quickly looked through a handful of stuff at an open-air market in Athens recently. Happy to know it’s still pretty easy to spot a fake Morgan.
I answer “ A Coin Shop “ when the phone rings. It’s more a habit than a hobby , at this point. My inventory is largely depleted and it’s become a precious metals trade for the most part. Fun, yet volatile. My wife wants me to sell it all and retire to the farm. But even that doesn’t change how I’ll answer my phone. 📞……going forward.
If I answer : “ This is Joe” , the callers try to sell me something , anyway
Anyone with a cell phone knows what I’m talking about.
I do carry this $104 pocket piece with me since issued last year.

I should be in your boat now. My buying boat is taking on water.
I went to the FUN show in January and bought nothing. All of my time is going towards selling. At some point all the funds I raise will go to just a few select coins.
