The album that my 3 cent nickel was in…

From the best of my knowledge, this was in the album since right around c.1960 up until earlier this year… 65 years, pretty cool!

If anyone has pictures of a slabbed coin and the album that it spent a significant amount of time in, post the pictures here!

I like the gentle album toning. Have you sent the coin to CAC?

    Very nice three cent piece.

Was that the only coin in the album?

No, it has not, I literally bought it from the owner the day it came back from PCGS

Surprisingly, the sticker only adds around 100 bucks to the value…

Oh no, it was mostly full. Michael bought the book with the rest of the contents of the collection and the majority of the stuff out of that book went to PCGS, at least 20 of the coins.

A lot of it has sold already. I think there’s a handful of pieces left.

Pieces ranged from average quality to exceptional. A couple of them got details, there was a draped quarter in fair O2, got details, scratch on the back. There was an UNC seated dime that got “artificial color“

Yeah, it was fun just to handle the coins and see them, I had to pick at least one nice one and that three cent really nailed it for me!
