Would this be as funny if he was a coin collector pointing at a 1943 copper penny?

Hey @MrEureka - I kindly ask since you are a senior board member to please show some leadership by making your thread titles meaningful. When vets don't do this, it encourages others to not offer the same courtesy.

Yes,................................ provided one does not take certain things (such as leisure pursuits) too seriously in life.

If one steps back and looks at human endeavors not necessary for the continuation of one's life (for example coin collecting, sports card collecting, video gaming, extreme sports, etc.) with a detached mindset one will/must find humorous the extent/degree to which participants place great significance to things which are 9 (to society in general) at best trivial.

For example which of two uncirculated or proof coins of the same date from the same mint (each with two microscopic flaws that can be seen only through a 30x loupe) is a 69 (worth $500.00) and which is a 70 (worth $50,000.00).

Yes… but I might find it even funnier if the collector looked more like George C. Scott and the the caption was….

But Mr. President… He’ll see the Big Board!

Fair request, but I’m guessing most veteran forum members would have the sense not to click on a title like this unless they were hoping for a chuckle and willing to risk some time.

If you have no humor you probably wouldn’t want to be around me.
