Did the 2026 Red Book change my Type Set? HELP?

I have been putting together a PCGS Type Set based on the Red Book. For example their Seated Liberty Quarters are listed below. Is the 2026 edition the same? Have there been any "category" changes?

Seated Liberty Quarter Type 1, No Motto (1838-1853, 1856-1865)
Seated Liberty Quarter Type 2, Arrows & Rays (1853)
Seated Liberty Quarter Type 3, Arrows, No Rays (1854-1855)
Seated Liberty Quarter Type 4, Motto (1866-1873, 1875-1891)
Seated Liberty Quarter Type 5, Arrows at Date (1873-1874)
Seated Liberty Quarter Type 6, With Motto, Arrows at Date (1873-1874)

PCGS lists these as follows, they are different, any thoughts as to what to follow?

Liberty Seated Quarter Type 1, No Drapery (1838-1840)
Liberty Seated Quarter Type 2, No Motto (1840-1865)
Liberty Seated Quarter Type 3, Arrows & Rays (1853)
Liberty Seated Quarter Type 4, No Motto, Arrows at Date (1854-1855)
Liberty Seated Quarter Type 5, With Motto (1866-1891)
Liberty Seated Quarter Type 6, With Motto, Arrows at Date (1873-1874)

HELP?

The 2026 edition lists various types but does not number them, nor make any distinctions in the table (except where needed for overdates or other similar varieties).

The 2026 RB is based on CDN CPG from what I have read.

I would not worry much. I have found numerous errors in the new red book. Clearly proofing was a missed step.

What specifically is your concern? Your lists look fine although PCGS recognizes LS No Drapery as a type. I’ve always used the PCGS types with a few custom embellishment's and omissions. (I recognize the ND as a type, it is quite different IMO). Collect what YOU think merits a distinct type.

New set up on the book, ya gotta expect it some, just saying 🙂

On your first list, #5 and #6 are the same thing.
