Bob @robec should also be considered. While I live on the east coast, if you live in CA, I'd say that he's a no brainer.
I've used priority mail medium boxes and never had an issue shipping. His return shipping are boxed superbly and carefully. Lastly, he's just a nice guy all around!

Each photographer on the forums mentioned is always a good choice. Life for me has mostly taken up my time, so I usually only image for existing clients or ones who are willing to make it work months out.
Of course, we all have our own specialty. I've always loved black and white:

I do it from my I phone and may tilt the coin to get a good shot under a 100 wat lamp.
