I wrote this article to sum up my frustration with eBay and the inability of many to have obvious counterfeits removed from that venue.

No picture of the coin in the alleged graded holder was posted and was sold yesterday for $39 on ebay.
Seller is in China.

ebay may feel like if they themselves become involved in the arbitration of authenticity, that they take on some kind of liability.

It appears that perhaps ebay has calculated it might hurt their bottomline more to effectively address the situation than it does to allow their reputation to possibly take a hit within the community that is familiar with a vast array of counterfeits.

sometimes they scan, sometimes not
it is common enough to mention the counterfeit QR codes can scan as ______.cn (that's china) addresses
