Someone painted this coin black and put it in circulation the obverse is ugly but the reverse ended up looking pretty cool. Enjoy some junk.

I have seen some very elaborate enameled coins. Do you think this was just painted solid black both sides and then circulation or sandpaper removed the high points on devices?
No sandpaper needed. Most likely either black Sharpie with a solvent used to remove the excess, or black paint with paint remover or thinner used before it dried completely.
No it was just black paint and circulation. I doubt any effort other than painting it was put forth, certainly not sandpaper and not enamel.
No it was circulation that removed the paint.
