eBay will hold the fund until the item is confirmed delivered

I just received email from eBay today.
We are making changes to the way we process payments on eBay. Going forward, we’ll make your funds available for payout within 72 hours after we’ve confirmed delivery of the item. Until then, you’ll see a “hold” on your funds. This process helps keep our marketplace safe.
If you have any questions or concerns, just get in touch. Thanks for being part of the eBay community.

More interest money for Ebay. Good move for them and bad for the seller.
Corrected: apparently I was under a misconception. Apologies to the OP.
Ok, glad I am in the US.
How do you know I am international? Lol
If not every one receives this email then I guess it will relate to the value of the coins sold. I just sold couple high value gold coins.
You've said so, have you not?
No never said that.
I apologize. You're based in the US????
What is "High Value'?
Where is the buyer located? I've never had a hold on anything up to $20k. The only time I ever had any kind of hold was a shipping hold while they waited for the buyer's payment to clear. The only reason I knew that is because the buyer told me.
Happy I no longer sell on eBay (or at all these days except a few coins on here) and just buy not everyone can wait for the funds.
Maybe eventually it will get to you. You never know.
Are these 2 high value gold coins something you rarely sell? Does it apply to all of your sales?
Sounds like it will apply to all items from right on. I got the money from some of the coins I sold. I am still waiting for couples but sounds like I will have to wait until it deliver confirmed by eBay. By the way I always ship same day or next day using eBay label unless high vale coin that ship international that was not covered by eBay international shipping program (over 2500).
