eBay, Heritage or Robert Edwards?

I know everybody's experience with auctions is unique, but if I wanted to sell Non-sports cards, what would you recommend? eBay, Heritage or Robert Edwards. Thanks for any advice.

Cheaper stuff for eBay and more expensive graded to Robert Edwards
I think every situation is different. I’ve trusted REA with high grade non-sports in the past… no complaints.
Live long, and prosper.
For someone who has bought nonsport packs from Heritage and REA, I feel like REA ends up with more quantity in their auctions than Heritage, which probably leads to more eyes. So, between the two, I would lean REA as a seller.
We have a bunch of non-sports collectors here on C.U.
Many of us collect both.
REA is quick with payment and very reliable. Calvin Arnold, the consignment director, is great to work with, too.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I've bought and sold a lot of stuff through REA and would definitely recommend them. Fast payments compared to other auction houses I've dealt with and the whole process is hassle free for you once they have your items in hand. They will even sell lower dollar items in their monthly non-catalog auctions.
My last payment from REA took 2 months!…and results were disappointing. Heritage Auctions have the most eyeballs.. and have had very positive experiences with them.
Non-sport I'm leaning Heritage. I don't think REA gets the non-sports eyeballs the way Heritage does. If it's sports I'm going REA most of the time unless it's a crazy piece. Wife just sent a 1/1 Star Wars card to Heritage that she thinks is a 20K+ item to them.

At the upcoming Chantilly VA show I see REA is listed as a participant but I do not see Heritage.
I like the idea of being able to drop of your upcoming auction items in person instead of mailing via USPS.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.
Heritage will pay for shipping on their dime under their insurance...via Fed Ex.
I'd check into Tom Boblitt at https://auctions.vintagenonsports.com
He runs non-sports-specific auctions, and also runs the https://forum.vintagenonsports.com/; the non-sports counterpart to the CU Forum and the Network54 baseball forum.

Same with REA. I'm very surprised it took you 2 months to receive your payment from them. I and every person I've known have been paid within 2-3 weeks. were there extenuating circumstances?

Are these cards graded or raw?
Late 60's and early to mid 70's non-sports
All graded.
Heritage on valuable items. I've achieved many record prices with them on Sports and Non-Sports Cards over the years. Both Vintage and Modern. Negotiate with them to receive a portion of Buyer's Premium which is 20% - they don't need it all.
I haven’t had much success with Heritage . I wanted to auction highest graded PSA Willie Mays final game ticket which at the time had a POP of 1 . They declined stating they didn’t know how to value the ticket .
Another time I wanted to auction an item worth at least 3 K they told me I needed at least 5 K items to enter auction even though they had items worth about 20 dollars in auction . This was a regular auction not a premium auction.
The last time , I entered an Elvis final concert ticket they bashed the concert in their description. Previously they raved about concert on other submissions. I had to reach out and have them change the description of concert .
In conclusion. I would never use them .
Here is a Star Wars card I sold through Heritage on 1/26/2024. It sold for $2,760 and I had bought it for $515. It had 11 bidders, 58 were tracking and it had 723 page views on its website. It had a lot of eyes and solid marketing.
I've never been "shafted by Heritage"...
Good deal, things are looking UP
