I'm looking forward to watching you open it. 😁 Probably will lay off box opening myself to avoid getting a batch of non-star non-rookie cards I dont want but could target some singles. Think it could be an incredible set though with a lot of potential. Would have to see a checklist but if rookies from the earlier set are included with Skenes Holliday Merrill that could be incredible. Like the look of the the Real One Red Auto Merrill. The base Holliday card looks great. Feel like it will be easier to have great pulls here than in 2025 but time will tell how the 2025 rookie class does. Feels like right now its Crews who I am not super excited about and not sure who else.

I was super lucky that someone on Facebook gifted me one of those retail boxes of 2024 Heritage; and that 90s Beckett article was right; opening those packs with those colorful cards IS a lot of fun!

I’m hoping to pick up some boxes. I’ve had a lot of HHN over the years and keep a bunch unopened. My 22HHN hoard is getting crazy bc it’s so cheap.
So I suspect this will come down a bit. But who knows.
The print runs grow and grow each year too. So that’s a factor.

Just remember if you hope to pull a card and dont succeed often you can just go on eBay and buy an incredible amount of appealing singles for the price you paid for boxes and hangers and packs.
The rip is fun and the hits are very rewarding and worth more than just the value of the card so not trying to discourage there completely. But maybe consider setting some cash aside that could have been box 2 or 3 to just assemble that what you hoped you pulled assortment of cards.
I dont open a lot because frequently it can feel like a punch in the teeth. But I loved that 2024 Topps Chrome design and went to The National and just felt like if I'm here I should have fun. So maybe 700 800 dollars spent there. And I pulled a nice Elly that was a unique short print art card. But with even that and feeling I got very lucky it probably would go for 200 so not a great financial move. I got the rookies but just the standard issue. The refractors and #ed were mostly guys like Dansby Swanson. One okay auto but the rest guys who had a 6 ERA at AAA who probably never get 100 innings in the major leagues who they really shouldn't be getting to sign cards. They save money and say hey one auto per box!!!! but you are lucky if you can get $2 for it.
So after that no more boxes for that set and spent $40 on this Jackson Holliday refractor here this Jackson Merrill Xfractor there for $30 this Lawlar auto for $30 and most are Mint to Gem Mint.
Just food for thought. Everybody likes what they like. Think it can work well as long as you are not expecting superfractor 1/1 cards.
