Sounds like an issue with your CC company not PCGS. Pehaps it's time to shop for a new one? RGDS!
This. I think many of us here secretly suspected it was a payment issue. PCGS won't and shouldn't ship back coins that have been "paid" for either on expired or fraudulent credit card(s).
I'd imagine PCGS doesn't have the time or manpower to deal with the OP's banking issues although as suggested above, it would be nice if the submitter was somehow notified of the issue so they could then resolve it on their end.

I have an interesting but less egregious situation. My express order was entered into PCGS system on 3/5. Two days ago (3/11) they went "Grades Ready" and "Images Ready" but still show "In Process:"
It's so maddening. If there was an accounting hold it would say so. They know the grades, they just won't tell me. Or ship them to me. They had the coins graded in a fantastic 6-days. But since then radio silence. They specialize in torture I think.
The credit card problem is still an issue. Yesterday I actually got the notice about a different order so I called in, they told me to call my credit card company. I talked to them and we verified everything and all of the transaction information was correct. I then called PCGS accounting back again and they ran the card again and it went through. It's so frustrating that aside from the website issues we all deal with, they won't even fix their credit card processing issues. For anyone that needs it, the number for accounting is 949-567-1152.

Sounds like you need reading comprehension.
Sounds like perhaps you may need to revisit a lesson in simple financial comprehension. THKS!
There's nothing wrong with ANYTHING to do with either the submission, the billing/CC issue. I can't say more right now. The error has been/IS on the part of PCGS! They ARE doing everything possible to end this fiasco. There will be MUCH more to come in the near future. After the phone call my trust in PCGS has been restored. There are just two small areas that should hopefully be addressed in the next week or so. One area is really a huge area that I can't divulge today. I will explain EVERYTHING in detail after all is taken care of. I hope this will be in the very near future. One area I hope will be resolved by Tuesday, the other I hope to be resolved this week.
I have no idea why this has taken over 3 months to come to light and don't know why it had to be elevated to the level it had to be elevated to, but I feel confident that a resolution and end to this mystery is very close at hand. Please be patient and all will be revealed in the end, whenever that shall be be. Thanks for all your support and please be kind to our fellow collectors. There's no reason to attack without having all the information available. Just my fifty cents! Ray

Thanks for update, I was wondering if you 'should get a call soon' would be a few weeks. Hopefully problems only occurred with one coin out of submission.
I'm venturing a guess if it isn't an issue with the CC (and the jury is still out on that), maybe the forms were filled out either incorrectly or are difficult to read. If you put down the wrong value amount, for example, that could easily slow the whole process down.
I'd also guess PCGS will be due an apology when all of this comes to light and the finger-pointing is over.

With CACG/CAC (same account), my CC is on file with them. Never an issue…………….
We’re all speculating without complete knowledge. Re the potential CC issue, however, the businesses I’m aware of will quickly tell you if there is a problem with your card or account. They never wait weeks or months to inform you. So it’ll be interesting to hear what the issue is / was.
The investigation continues on their end. I've requested updated with no response, so far! I have to be patient. It's only been 70 days so far, though I know what their error is/was, I have to wait for a resolution.
You only live life once, enjoy it like it's your last day. It just MIGHT be!
Patience my A$$, I'm going to kill something, as I've seen on bumper stickers. I started this thread hoping to let others know about my situation, find out if this were actually a common place situation or not. Also I was hoping to have someone at PCGS to reach out and provide assistance. But it took many phone calls, pm's, emails etc. to actually have ANY individual actually respond to the matter. This way I was able to discover whom to contact, this information was provided by fellow board members, not PCGS.
This situation has been viewed over 2,300 times and with all the responses I've actually gained traction and discovered what has happened to this submission. But by exposing some of the details I've opened myself up to have not filled out the forms correctly, been too messy in filing them out so they couldn't be interpreted correctly. I'm not capable of ensuring my correct credit card information or provided fraudulent information on the credit card areas. That I've submitted rare and/or complicated items that take a very long time to authenticate. I've provided all the details, provided descriptions and photos of the actual coins submitted. I know all the details and have provided all the information that I knew about this submission, yet this is not enough for different individuals attempting to lay blame on myself. As soon as I can possibly clarify 2 areas of information that I need to obtain from PCGS, then and only then can I tell the whole and complete story and ALL questions WILL be answered. If anyone has any more/other questions, I'll be glad to answer them to my fullest capability. Thanks to all of you that have been so VERY supportive, the information you provided has helped tremendously! Without those of whom had helped I don't know where I'd be nor where my coins would be. Ray

You've exhibited more patience than I believe I might have and certainly more patience than some folks here.
Regarding the reading comprehension of some members, well, once others on the board start to add their own stories or theories to the thread then those that follow are not always careful enough to realize that much of what they read is not what you wrote. This thread has gone sideways at times, but that appears to be the norm on these boards.
@raycyca You stated: "As soon as I can possibly clarify 2 areas of information that I need to obtain from PCGS, then and only then can I tell the whole and complete story and ALL questions WILL be answered."
I can only assume you still haven't found out exactly what's going on.
The suspense is killing me.
Please give another update when you can.
For what it's worth, I hate that you had to go through this.
Here's the latest: Like I said, I was contacted by a PCGS VP and gave me encouraging information on tis submission. I was told to expect a couple things to happen. Today is business day 76 Y'all! Since that day, PCGS has gone DARK, like the middle of the night. NOTHING AT ALL!? I have no further information. Right now they are Baltimore, MD. I have half a mind to drop in and say HOWDY Y'all. Remember me?
I still have so many more coins to submit, but as you can figure, NO WAY. Otherwise, I'd drive to Baltimore, pickup my coins and drop off more. If you want your coins fast, go to the show, drop them off and pay the fee. Get your coins at the end of the show. Or go regular. Express is out of my future here. Why, because out of 4 submissions I submitted that day, 3 were regular submissions. They came back in significantly less time than estimated. Now it's at 5 TIMES the estimate.

Two days to reply to a customer service email is top notch?
Obviously we don't know all the details, so this may not be possible at this moment, but I think it would go a long way if a PCGS representative replied to this thread and issued at a minimum an apology to raycyca.

Patience is a virtue lacking in our immediate gratification society.
Out of thens of thousands of submissions PCGS handles flawlessly it is the loudest complaint when PCGS needs a bit more time to get it correct.
Do you want it quick or do you want it right?

How do you define “a bit more time”? Have you actually read the dates and details provided?

Mark, I think there has been a bit of trolling in this thread, yet taken at face value, it does take light (traveling at 186,000 miles per second) 100,000 years to cross our Milky Way galaxy. Related to that? I suppose a few more days for an outcome works out to be alright.
Again, it is a bummer to go through what the OP is experiencing, yet- and perhaps naively- I think the end result will be satisfying and the reasons for the delay justified.

I realize I am ignorant here, but by now what could possibly be the reason other than they lost the coins long ago yet they do not want to pay a fair replacement value?
I can't comment about the VP call yet. Where the coins are is still a mystery! I'm not sure they know, but have been told they know they're somewhere at PCGS? Can I believe that?
