Spring has sprung! My earliest dug large cent

Namvet69Namvet69 Posts: 9,429 ✭✭✭✭✭

I love Spring for several reasons. Yesterday was kinda balmy along the Delaware River.
Dug a 1807/6 large cent and a 1864 2c in Hopewell NJ. The cent appears to be the large 7 variety. Enjoy. Peace Roy

Burried for 200 years, I doubt that cent would have much to say.

It's in the top ten or so, given I've been detecting for 30+ years. Have a good day

Man, that really is neat. The mind wanders to who lost it, when and how they lost it. Very cool.
