I absolutely adored the 1972 DDO cent. When the crazy mad rush to find them in August 1972, I went to the New York Federal Reserve Bank and walked up to their consumer window ( believe it or not they were once consumer friendly) and bought TWO $50 mint bags of 1972 Philly cents on a Friday afternoon. I carried them on NYCity SUBWAY to my Mom’s apartment in New York City on East 85th Street and 3rd Avenue.
(I was a crazy 19 year old College kid with my summer off from College) and working full time in a summer job. I was lucky enough to get that Friday afternoon off.
I spent the entire two weekend nights studying every cent in both bags until nearly every cent looked doubled!
With absolutely no luck in finding a single DDO cent I went to my lical bank to turn them in. Somehow i got three different cents in change. Two iof them were DDO cent! I got excited and asked for more cents from the teller. Fuve more were DDO cents! The head teller seeing this commotion got nervous and pressed the secret alarm button thinking there was a problem and suddenly 10 NYPD policeman swarmed the bank. I slinked away with my seven 1972 DDO cents!!
I still have two of them! Later graded PCGS/CAC MS -66 RD.
I sold my PCGS MS-67RD one as it failed to sticker 15 years ago.
My eyes now at 71 years of age are not what they used to be.

@124Spider - Very nice! 👍
The 68-S due to the return to circulation of the S mints after an absence of 13 years.
Often forgotten about -

1995-D ddo would be neat to see in MS64RD/better.
Not to these eyes, it isn't "more doubled than 72 83, etc."
OK, I put my glasses on and your correct - but its still more scarce.
WS
That it is!
