I won't repost all the pics again, but your collection of Civil War tokens is astounding. I am just starting to delve into that series and it is quite something to see examples like this all lined up ... that range of colors, how on earth ... aren't they all just copper?

Yes, they are all just copper. I go after the toners for Civil War Tokens and get them uncirculated because they are so much more affordable than gem toners of actual US coins. They aren’t too hard to find either, much more plentiful than Toned actual coins from the 1800s.
@semikeycollector: "The 1877 Quarter is a stunner, however the 1877 $20 proof in the center, just has my attention transfixed! Are there other proof 1877 gold in your collection as well?"
Yes, set is complete.

@PerryHall said: @asheland That's a nice rotated die on your 1849 Half Cent. I'm surprised PCGS didn't mention it on the label.
I can only assume it’s common enough on that type that they don’t even bother mentioning it…
As a teenager, the coin shop I used to visit when I lived in Florida, I remember Alan had a similar braided hair half cent like this, also with a very extremely rotated die and remembered him mentioning how that was pretty common for that type even then…

Glad we got to see some larger pics, but I've looked through your great registry set!
Cleaning off my drool! Beyond awesome!
Thanks for the compliments on my sets 🌞
