For anyone using this, is payment coming from your bank account linked with PayPal instead of the linked CC account which is supposed to be the preferred payment source?

Is Pirate Ship cheaper than just using Paypal shipping?

I have no reason to use PP shipping as I rarely complete a PP transaction that would lead me to use it. Last time I went to use www.shipnow.com it sent me to PirateShip. Shipnow was a PP utility that let you print shipping labels regardless of whether or not you used PP,

I will have SFRB to ship. What should I use to prepare my label that's better than PirateShip?

Considering PirateShip doesn't insure coins per their policies, does anyone have another alternative besides the USPS website?

I use ShipStation which is essentially PayPal shipping.

I use PirateShip and like it. I just got an email from them with an announcement of their brand-new insurance. It links to this info page: https://support.pirateship.com/en/articles/9903380-insureshield-terms-and-conditions-for-insurance

The text includes this, which I'm not 100% sure I understand: coins are on the excluded list, except "collectible coins with no currency value are **not **excluded from coverage." Limits are fairly low but would cover most of what I ship, with the occasional small sale.

PayPal shipping for a long time used to use Pirate Ship as it's back end. I'm not sure what they use now since I personally use Pirate Ship. I like the fact that they let you print 3x5 shipping labels.

If you buy a usps label from them are you buying usps insurance or their insurance? When I print a label it seems like it crops off a bit of the the left side, and not sure how to fix that. It always prints to the upper left corner of the page.

I haven't bought the PirateShip insurance before. The way they brand it (by "InsureShield Shipping Insurance by UPS Capital,") I'm thinking it's not the USPS insurance.

Regarding label printing - I've never had any issues. A single label takes up half of a normal 8.5x11 sheet, but I get all the margins. Probably a setting on your printer that need tweaking. My guess is, PirateShip customer service might be willing to assist - if you call them, I'd be interested in seeing a post about how responsive you feel they were...

    Best of luck!

They seem to have changed their wording on coin coverage. Previously, it stated that graded coins where fair value could be determined would be covered. Raw coins would also be covered if they were accompanied by an invoice. This new version is much more ambiguous.

The insurance seems to be non USPS based on price. Never had an issue with a package getting delivered, just an annoyance. More peeved that payment comes from my PP linked bank account instead of the linked CC account.

Credit card. Super easy with great discounts on pricing. Also saves all your shipping addresses in a database for reuse on future labels once you type the person's first name.

With a CC for billing, I get 2% back on all postage fees, too.

Of course, but PP isn't taking it from my CC which is the default payment method.

They do give printing instructions for various browsers. I use Avast Secure Browsed which is a Chrome clone, but not sure if it will work. That's not a concern.

Guess I will need to call PP as the linked CC is my preferred payment option.

I don't link Paypal (and never had) to Pirate Ship (or for ebay, either, at this point), just a CC and all postage fees are charged to my card automatically upon purchase of a label.

PayPal can sometimes default to a bank account, but you should be able to update your preferred payment method in the settings. Double-check that your credit card is set as the primary source. It’s usually an easy fix, and once updated, it should work as expected! I like to share something out of the box with all of you. Last Minute Writing service saved me when I had multiple assignments due at the same time. I have found https://lastminutewriting.com/assignment website where I found the writers who followed my instructions perfectly and delivered a high-quality paper with strong arguments. The formatting was professional, and the plagiarism report assured me of originality. I highly recommend this service for students needing urgent academic assistance.

You can check payment settings to ensure correct payment source is selected.

I did that at PP and CC is checked as preferred payment option. That's why I might need to call PP. Not a big issue really.

    I may look into ShipStation.
