Are you finding coins you need for sale in 2025?

Added 3 coins in January but not a single coin has showed up I need in February. It is a much slower year so far on my end.

I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.
It is a tough beginning of year for us Peru and Guatemala guys. May have to get back to building my Mexico set if things stay this way for a while longer. Just to keep busy.

I agree. The competition has been stiff recently. I often make some opportunistic purchases by now and I haven't yet.

Nope. I got two but usually do better.
Well, just Love coins, period.
2 months in and not a single Guatemala coin I need or do not need has showed up on eBay. This is the longest I have seen like this in almost 2 years of collecting Guatemalan coins.

If things do not pick up I will continue my US dime collection (life long goal). I would be happy just to add 3-4 new Peru and 3-4 Guatemala 1 reales I need in 2025. Not asking for much.
So far I suppose I am doing well:
Peru added 2 new coins and Guatemala 1 new coin. Just added 2 new US dimes as well.

Not on the bourses anymore that's long gone. Lots of fun in the 80's come home from a show with a handful every time.
Auctions yes ,but big money over my head.

Registry still still upgrading thru deep exhaustive hunting and luck. maybe 3 to 6 a year??
I bought 11 coins last year and one so far this year, a duplicate. Nothing of interest at Heritage, Stacks, Aureo Calico, Sixbid, or the ANA show I attended last week.
I bought one of 11 coins last year from eBay. In 2023, 1 of 12. In 2022, 1 of 6. In 2021, I only bought one coin but not from eBay. That's all I could find anywhere or maybe I was outbid but don't remember. Somewhat more in prior years but not consistent.
If I can find anything on eBay, it's a win.
I have to get use to it the more my collection get closer to completion. I will keep busy with my US dime collection if things stay slow for long periods of time.

Latin American Collection
Nothing at FUN but a bunch of tokens at the ANA in Atlanta. Had to stretch to get them but pleased with the purchase.
I have been upgrading via Heritage and Stack's. Still looking for 3 coins to fill my Canada date set.
