First time this coin has been auctioned?

As far as I can tell, a 1950 Franklin Proof in 67 ULTRA CAMEO has never been auctioned at Heritage or Greatcollections. Do any of you remember seeing one of these on Ebay over the years?

Also, is there a way to check CAC's database to see if a coin like this has been sent to CAC? I'd be curios to know on this one.

What’s with the large break in the proof surface below the Y in liberty, and what’s going on with the bell lines (debris or damage)? Looks closer to a 63 rather than a 67

There is no way to check the CAC database for anything, you can check the CAC pop report. The CAC pop report shows 4 for 1950 DCAM, 1 in 64, 3 in 65 nothing higher; there are several for 1950 CAM even up to PR68 CAM.

Good questions. Would love to view this coin in hand to see why it got a 67.

Gotcha. Thanks for letting me know. I had no idea there were only 4 coins to receive a CAC sticker for DCAM. Surprising a 68 Cameo received a sticker as well, would love to see that coin.
