Watched RCTV, the show was dedicated to selling what is remaining of MS62 1899-P Liberty $20 Gold

.........all part of the great "European gold hoard."
This guy Rick is the best snake oil salesman on TV.
The PCGS price guide for MS62 1899 $20 Gold Liberty coins is $3k.
He is selling them for $4,495.
The best part is that they are "Smithsonian Quality." 😂
Did you also know this coin is a 'key date?' 😂
Of note, I checked the listing for the show and noticed it originally aired in October of 2020.
Spot for gold was around $2,600.
How could there possibly be any of these "very rare" coins left??
Who falls for this crap?

People not knowing what there spending to start. It's a huge trouble and should be careful when purchasing
(Better word has to get out there about it as well)
I met him at the FUN show this year- very slick
As much as I detest selling tactics of that nature, I recommend caution in posting the word Edited to delete😉

Rick is very slick, like an oil slick. He has several of my Kennedy coins in his book on Franklin and Kennedy half dollars. Now seeing what he's doing now-a-days, I regret allowing my coins to be in his books. He never gave any thanks or a copy of the book. This is also where the first photo of the 1982-P no "FG" Kennedy made it's debut, even before PCGS recognized it as an error and then a variety.
He dramatically illustrates how the 2024 Silver Dollars are Much rarer than the 1893S because the mintage is lower. He hurts my brain to watch.
