Superb collections are built more by omission than by addition.

It seems odd they would leave so much real estate blank (aside from branding) around the coin.

Probably just a formatting error.

See below; not an error:

A Lincoln cent is not rectangular.
This (the OP cent) is what happens when the image isn’t properly sized. Trust me, I’ve been at this for a while.

Looks nice tho.
Looks better than MS65RB too.
Could be that the photo department used the wrong template.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
At least the coin isn't upside down. PCGS logo does stand out in this format.
photo department can massage the files and fix that. just need to figure out how to contact them
Here's an oldie.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
My Jefferson Nickel Collection
that nickel looks like an old secure plus photo
Yes, I think that is one of the old "sniffer" photos.

Here's the ebay auction it came from....you need the slab number to source it out.
The coin itself is very nice with ample steps to show the completion of an FS full strike.

The only other thing missing and just as intriguing is an inquiring mind.

My Jefferson Nickel Collection
yeah, it says gold shield to keep the brand, but it's a secure pus holder with a corresponding bad secure plus picture (secure plus photos were not supposed to be tv, but they shouldn't have been so bad)
If you see something odd like this then Zu (Zuleyma) on the PCGS photo team can fix it promptly. You can email her at negronz@collectors.com

I haven't but it looks okay to me. Smaller coins need not be the size of dinner plates in images.
