CAC Grading, PCGS and NGC oversized holders

What’s the community’s take on oversized holders? I recently received the Lincoln: Preserve, Protect, Defend medal in an NGC holder and find it a bit too bulky. The ring also allows the medal to rotate—not ideal.

CAC Grading has it in their plans for grading medals but hasn’t rolled them out yet. It’ll be interesting to see their approach when they do.

Personally, I’d prefer something slimmer—closer to PCGS or a solid in-between size. What are your thoughts?

    I spoke with cac at fun about oversized and special holders, and didn’t get a sense of when (or if) that is going to happen. Please keep us informed as it progresses
