PCGS Banknote Question…
My brother has an intact pack of 50 silver certificates in the old strap, he wants to have the whole pack graded and put inside a slab as one unit… Does PCGS banknote do that? Does anybody know?
He checked with PMG, but apparently they do not…

I have seen 100 note packs graded by PCGS Banknote. Does the original label strap show 50 or a 100 notes? You might have to contact PCGS Banknote and ask them if an answer is not forthcoming. It sounds like your brother has half a pack of consecutively numbered notes.

Thank you @asheland and thank you @humanssuck. I was able to find the submission form and I’ll be sending the half pack in for grading and encapsulating.

Why would you do this?
Are you trying to instill confidence in prospective buyers?
who might just intend to break them up anyway?I have a difficult time understanding how a grade can be made for a pack - is it some sort of average where the buyer needs to understand hidden dogs are lurking?
I would pay MORE money for an uncertified pack, send them in to PMG as bulk discount grading and sell off individually.
But that is just me0 -
