GTG: 1913 Buffalo Nickel

Just recently made my first ever grading submission, and got the results today...
What grade do you think this buff fetched at CAC (I cracked it out of an ANACS 63 holder for reference)?

I like 64. Hit over eyebrow and luster are limiting. I personally like the look but I could see others seeing it otherwise.
Thanks for posting.

64 was my first impression as well.

The hit right above the is what I’m drawn to. Im sure it’s not as bad in hand. My guess is 64

Because of the apparent lack of luster I could see them calling it 62. They have beat me up on my Buffalo submissions!
I suspect my grade is likely higher than the CAC grade and I will leave it at that. I have serious reservations as to whether the CAC grade meets or exceeds the Anacs grade.

I like it as a 63+. The shelf doubling on obv is neat.

63 to a 63 is my guess.
I'll post the grade later this evening 👍

It looks high 63 to 64. I'll call it a 64, but just barely. Lower obverse including the date is lightly struck. LIBERTY is always weak on Buffs through 1915. Top feather is not completely struck. Looks like the obverse die has been in the press for a while and nearing replacement.
The reverse is nicer than the obverse.

(I only ended up sending four in this submission, and they all straight graded--a fact I'm pretty happy with)
I'll be posting GTGs for the other three on other days 👍
