1983 P Jeffersons Nickel

Hello everyone. Happy New Year to you all. I have this nickel. Can you help me with this nickel? It seems that there is an error on the face .and also double die on Monticello is that true. Thans you very much to everyone.

No, that is not true. Please see the response to any of your earlier similar questions.

No errors. Just worn with maybe a little strike doubling on Monticello.

There is also Die Deterioration on the obverse.
    Still worth 5 cents though.

As dies are used more and more beyond their useful life, the begin to distort and deform more and more. The coins struck from them also deform more and more.

Yes, your coin shows abnormalities but these are due to deterioration of the dies by overuse and is not considered an error but rather a poorly manufactured coin.

Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.
