The last time I got a good deal on eBay, the seller canceled the transaction without explanation. Obviously he woke up and realized the sale was good for the buyer, not him.
‘’I know it is going to sound like I am joshing, yet really- the 1971-D appears MS68. Ownership adds a point. . . I know... I know, but truly, I gotta send that one in for sure.’’
Pat: I thought the same thing about the 71-D from 8,200 miles away! It’s a currently a pop 10/0 in MS68. But, it would be an honor to include your freshly graded pop 11/0 in my #1 Registry Set with the story behind it. We can easy come to terms on the graded coin as well. Let me know if and when you secure it in the MS68 holder. Or, if you want (5) of the raw coins walked through the FUN show in Florida at PCGS grading, just get them in Justin’s hands right after Christmas. Another option is for you to submit them for grading at Long Beach in a couple months. Justin can easily do that for you as well if you don’t have time to actually drive to the show. I’ll be in CA for most of the month of January if you want to show me any coins face to face. Good luck!

Congratulations! I hope you have a real score in there.
I once bought 7 raw clad Ikes in a non-standard plastic holder. Submitted 3 for grading and scored an MS67 (sold for $4,000), an MS66 (kept for my collection), and an MS64 (we all make mistakes).
Since they allow anyone to list on the site, and with little oversight on their part, EBAY will always get more negative feedback in the community. However, speaking for myself, they have so many fair deals to be found. Many from reputable coin dealers simply clearing up their inventories.
Last year, I purchased a PMG graded (25) $10 Military Payment Certificate, Series 481, for $55 w/free shipping. I only bought it because the reverse design caught my eye, and I really liked it.
I am baffled to this day as to why I was able to buy this thing for $55 because it is valued at around $250-$300. It's actually one of the rarer MPC notes.

Pat- see if you can sell me $2,500-$5,000 out of the album to update the story in January. lol. Happy to try to help you max out the great coins at PCGS if they only come back MS67.
Wondercoin.
How do you max out a MS67 and turn into a MS68?
You guys must have better monitors than me if you can look at those coins and pick out the MS67's and a MS68.+++

Looks as it you now have an instant Kennedy Registry Set… well played.

Dave Wesen: Braddick has the coins in hand. Not via a monitor.
