Card Room

hamilton888hamilton888 Posts: 106 ✭✭✭

I thought I’d post some images from my “office” which was featured on the Topps Instagram page yesterday.

There is an incredible story behind the imagination, construction, and installation of the room that words can’t do justice for. Just know it was the vision of fellow forum member - Brent M - who quite literally had to invent and engineer the display systems you see here, for this to become reality over the course of two phases and two years. I am just the beneficiary of it. I always say it’s the best “investment” in cards I’ve ever made, but being able to see it all has brought collecting to the new level.

Here are just a few pics

Wow….amazing custom cabinets to beautifully showcase the glory of your collection. Fantastic assortment of racks, packs and boxes. I am also loving the GPK and Star Wars items. I think we are collecting brothers from different mothers!

That room would make Willy Wonka proud!

I saw the Topps IG post and thought that some of it looked familiar, OP had previously shown us some of the progress here

With that collection why would you need to buy anything else? He already has everything anyone would ever want. :D

If you could choose just 1 pack from your collection to open which would you choose? But would instantly be replaced by a magic fairy of course. What would it be?

Tough one. I hate the thought of opening any of them, but if I had to, it would be interesting to open one of the 1971 series 4 racks with a great shot at a Nolan or Hank.

Well as all the others have said, what an impressive room. When you get a new pack or individual card that demands display, something can be removed so it can take its place -- can't display everything! This was wonderful to see -- thanks for sharing!

Saw you in the article in SCD, all my collecting friends who have seen what you have done tell me I need to do this! I am sure it was not cheap. Congrats and very spectacular!
