How many people suffered major reverses looking for that one in the Rockies? Sad that people think winning the lottery, making a lot with stock trades or becoming brazen treasure searchers is the path to "success".

Why does it have to be a path to success and not a fun challenge? If I do go looking for this, it's not because I'm planning to become "rich." The idea of a treasure hunt just sounds fun. And from what I can tell, if each treasure is equal, they are "only" about $400k.

each treasure isn’t equal, he said a chapter is dedicated to 4 of the treasures and then the “big one” with the “lions share” is hinted at throughout the entire book. way cool

Are professional treasure hunters and archaeologists the same as lottery ticket buyers too?
One might argue that roll hunting for W quarters is the same as a lottery too. “Wasting” time and money in pursuit of a score.

No value judgment at all by me about how people spend time and money on coins.
I do agree with you that way too many forum members on here pass judgment and post negative comments on what each of us collect.
FWIW, I was stating the obvious which is the author is making a a fortune having others buy his book which is his obvious intention since he won't reveal any clues unless you buy the book.
You want to buy the book have at it but I won't be buying one. Not sure why you care if I do.🤔
