Fixing Frayed Edges Of Whitman Albums

Over time the blue paper on the corners of these Whitman albums seem to peel up. A little Elmers glue seems to do the trick. Let it dry with a clothespin for a few hours.

Nice. I use this, but it’s the same chemically as Elmer’s

Personally, I use gorilla glue for performing the same kind of repairs.

As long it is acid-free and "super" it should be fair game to use. Certain lighter materials won't hold heavier coins like large cents and standard silver dollars if the coins aren't contained by the boards themselves.
