Scenario:
You're interested in a coin that has several bids.
After the auction (a day later) you check GC auction archives to see what it sold for and it's not there, does this mean that the coin did not meet the reserve?

    Don't believe that any GC auctions have a reserve.

    Archives can be a bit tricky though, but it should show up there.

    Assuming you were watching it, you can go to your watchlist and then click the "recently ended" tab.

    Yes they do have a reserve .. it is call a starting bid. If no one has bid on it, then it is not sold ( acts like a reserve) . There are no hidden reserves that I am aware.

    I was watching a 1914 PCGS ms65rb Lincoln Cent a couple of weeks ago and it was bid up to $362. I wanted to know what it closed at.
    Now when I check auction archives it shows the latest 1914 ms65rb Cent sold for $204. No coin at $362/higher. What gives?

    My best guess is that after you select the correct variety, you must also know that the sales price in history is with markup; therefore the coin you recall closing in the $300 is historically listed over $400 in this case.

    I guess next time I have to make sure the appropriate boxes are checked if and when the search parameters are selected.
    I didn't have the CAC box marked.
