Take a look at the True View photo and give us your thoughts (before looking up the Cert #).

Early strike with the matte finish dies, giving it that pebbly appearance, and very well struck also.
Hard to tell the luster, I suspect an old cleaning but straight graded 63 shot 4.
Now I'm gonna peek....
UNC details cleaned

MS62 but choice for what it is. The biggest population Survivor of the early walkers. Spent too long in an album after a dip in the 80s. I could go to 63 if the luster isn’t as dull as it looks.

Nice strike - head not 100% but pretty good; thumb detail good with complete stem split; skirt lines acceptable, eagle’s trailing leg shows good detail. Good eye appeal; my guess is MS64 pre-peek.

I am not going to offer an opinion. I have concerns that the image may not capture how the coin looks in hand.

Take my breath away!
These True Views never do. Based on these I'm seeing 66.
I see rub, 55/58.
For this coin the True View photo shows the coin pretty close to how it looks in hand. It is very eye appealing in hand, especially under good lighting. It has a strong strike that brings up the details of the design very well. The rims on both sides of the coin are full and sharp.
This coin has minimal luster.
I have always thought that the coin would likely not straight grade, as upon close inspection it looks like it has been tinkered/messed with before.
PCGS opines it has been cleaned, UNC Details. That is unfortunate because it is a very attractive coin.
it almost looks proof to me, similar to ms Lincolns and buffs of this era that look like matte proofs. The quality of coins coming out of Philly during this decade seems pretty extraordinary - arguably the stylistic peak of USA numismatic art + great production quality. I would have guessed the TV was off, with muted luster I would have guessed AU62. I bet with enough tries it would straight grade here or ats. As always, if the grade don't fit, you must resubmit!
I would have guessed AU58.

it will be cracked out and resubmitted.........again
Coin looks cleaned. MS 65 details.

MS 62, looks lusterless and should not grade higher

Those pictures are too screwed up to draw any conclusions IMO.

I would respectfully disagree with that statement. If you download the file from PCGS and enlargement it is easy to see that the coin has an enormous amount of wear on the high points along with some scraping on the reverse which might be why it detailed.
I don’t see wear I see strike, that said many a AU58 has lost its wear due to chemical baths which might be the case gear. That said a low end UNC 17p won’t elicit much doctoring from dealers so the most logical answer is the most likely. Amateur dip, poor/no rinse and a long time in an album.

I’m with @Coinscratch - I think there’s wear apparent on both sides of the coin.

I'm not familiar enough with the series to say/know that this is a mushy strike with acid dips. Either way for me it's wear prolly rode hard and put up wet.
My guess is that, rather than having been cleaned to eliminate evidence of wear, it was cleaned to remove discoloration on the reverse, remnants of which can be seen around the eagle's head and AMERI(CA).

@Coinscratch The strike weakness vs wear debate would be easily settled if the photos weren't so screwed up

Well. If we take a closer look we then have to wonder how all of those hit imprints got inside of those dies. Or is that just a complication of a "Weak Strike"?
What are talking about? No one said the coin was pristine, high points take the brunt of contact

Sometimes on weakly struck coins, nicks on the planchet can stay even after striking. That's not to say that flatly struck areas can't also get contact marks.

Brunt of contact, yes I agree that I just thought there was a disagreement between whether or not the coin was circulated.
I would defer to you but off those pictures I see consistent textures on the sun, breasts and wing tops which make me think it’s a processed commercial UNC. Not that those aren’t know with a little rub but I don’t see metal loss. Again in hand I reserve the right to change my guess
