Guards walk off into October! Cleveland clinches postseason berth.
CLEVELAND -- "For the second straight game, the Guardians won in walk-off fashion in extra innings. This is the style of play that got them off to a blazing start to the season, so it’s only fitting that it’s also how they officially lock up their spot in the 2024 postseason."
Cleveland joins New York as the first 2 teams so far to clinch an AL playoff berth.

@Steven59 congrats amigo, hope they make some noise in the playoffs
and i like those shirts they have on
I just find it amazing the Stephen Vogt is a first year manager taking over for Terry Francona and has had no previous managing experience.

I was bummed initially when Counsell decided to head south because Vogt had already taken the Cleveland job. I think he’s a great fit there.
