Looking for some suggestions on this coin value. Is is worth putting on eBay and what is a reasonable price. Any feedback would be appreciated.

    It looks like "sold" listing on ebay average between $2 and $10. ;)

    Thank you, the so called sold prices were all over the place. Not sure which ones were true.

    My question was serious. You probably have dozens (hundreds?) of coins in your house, and yet this is the one that you decided to ask about. Why did you think that this coin even might have some value, especially when compared to any of the other coins you didn't ask about?

    It feels like you're getting bad information from somewhere...

    OP attributes confusion to eBay “so called sold prices”. That sounds right.

    I just came across it tonight, checked out eBay but there’s so much fake crap on there I wanted to ask people who have more experience than myself. I haven’t come across one of these until tonight. Started collecting last fall so thought I’d ask.

    Maybe this is a little better, got four rolls of theses from the bank two were all nifc coins. Any idea what they are worth. Never found so many in a couple bank rolls

    Definitely better finds than the cent. The 1964 is the only year for a circulation strike Kennedy made of 90% silver, that one is worth about $11 . After that, from 1965-1970, they are 40% silver and worth about $4,50. The Bi centennial is also 40% silver and worth about $4.50. Total from the 4 coins is about $25, which is a nice little score for a few bank rolls.

    People do collect both no FG and floating roof cents. I think the OP understands this better than you think.

    a) I see no eBay sales in that condition, at any price.

    b) The median sale price (in higher grade) is about $1

    c) What are the eBay fees on a $1 sale?

    I'll stick with my original comment. The posted coin is worth 1c. Once you take out costs from the eBay sale price, the net revenue might be negative. If the seller values their time at all, the net profit would certainly be negative. But you can still spend it, so the value can't be lower than 1c as long as you don't try to sell it on eBay.
