How about another one. Surely I am not the only one collecting these.
This one is kind of fun:

I suppose 'modern' by some standards.
(This one is in the mail to me.)
peacockcoins
Not mine (too rich for my blood):
peacockcoins
Not sure what year this is but it is post 1982
Here are a couple of Shield cent clips that I recently added to my date set.
Sean Reynolds
"Keep in mind that most of what passes as numismatic information is no more than tested opinion at best, and marketing blather at worst. However, I try to choose my words carefully, since I know that you guys are always watching." - Joe O'Connor
This is the most recent clip I acquired.

Nice lamination.
@WaterSport - What's an eye cud?
A die chip.
So there's no such thing as an eye cud. A cud is on the rim of a coin. The guy is talking about a die chip. Thanks @JBK
........and there goes a perfectly good thread!
Too bad there's no eye-roll emoji.
🙄
My phone has one.

A fold-over partial indent? The letter 'A'.
Looks like partial blockage from a small piece of scrap
I think @emeraldATV had the partial blockage.
Here's another kinda modern error. 😂
Double struck meet double packed.
@BLUEJAYWAY - I find these packaging errors interesting. Even mint errors inside mint and proof sets.
Coins are Neato!

"If it's a penny for your thoughts and you put in your two cents worth, then someone...somewhere...is making a penny." - Steven Wright
Really @emeraldATV??
.

Why all the negative vibes ?
Just think of it this way.
Two...Two...Two mints on one.
I'm calling now, with, Three, really, really, small, two's.
Gin !
I think @emeraldATV needs to start a Post-Mint Damage thread.
Why? He already turns every thread into one.
I'm thinking Way Off Center....
Finally! After 2 1/2 months the coin I opened this thread with has been graded and photographed!

I had this coin graded years ago and recently sent it back for Photovision Plus pics. Very happy with pics, thought I would share. MS65 double struck; 180 degree rotated in collar.
That is neither a cud nor a die chip. It is a WDDO-002 a "best of" Variety.
If you have time look yours up and make sure that it has the die markers.
