Peak Rarities is open for business - New Inventory just uploaded 7/8

PeakRaritiesPeakRarities Posts: 3,700 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'm pleased to announce that I've launched the website for Peak Rarities today, and we're officially open for business. I have some coins already listed for sale, but I'm going to be aggressively buying choice pre-33, pioneer, early federal, seated and bust material, and pretty much anything that's extremely nice, preferably with CAC. Fair warning, this is more in line with the Paradime or CRO model so they are not wholesale prices, but great coins simply don't come cheap these days. Please reach out on any of the various social media channels if you're interested in anything or looking to sell.

I have a brick and mortar location (just a business suite by appointment only) in Boynton Beach (palm beach county), Florida, so if anyone's ever in that neck of the woods let me know so you can stop by and say hello.

Website Dont forget to subscribe to the mailing list so you get newp notifications

Facebook

We're also on ebay and will be posting the coins from the website but please contact me directly if you see something on the website because I may have room on the coin and the price will always be less off of ebay. Sometime down the line, I plan on doing some youtube content as well.

Thank you 🙏

    I wish you well.

You certainly have the smarts and initiative to prosper.

Next time I'm in Fla I'll certainly be in contact.

Not exactly a long trip from Delray.

Thanks Jay! My old office was right in Delray but even the new one is but a 10 minute drive from downtown.

Very nice website and best of luck.

Great write ups. I have no idea why dealers don’t have written descriptions for their inventory especially for expensive coins and if they’re unable to do it themselves find someone who can.

Congratulations! Have fun and hope to see you soon.

Awesome to see you follow through on your plan! Best of luck from a fellow deplorable Floridian.

Having fun while switching things up and focusing on a next level PCGS slabbed 1950+ type set, while still looking for great examples for the 7070.

Very nice website. It looks nice and the coins look great. You probably should add information about what payments you accept (eg, PayPal, Visa, or whatever) and your shipping and returns policies. Possibly this information is present if you add a coin to the cart but I think it should be available when someone is just browsing the website. If it's already on the website and I missed it, my apologies.

It was all listed somewhere on the website but to make it easier, I put a large disclosure with all of that information. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, now I think it will be hard to miss.

The coin looks silly in that holder, it’s a 55+ with claims to 58 on the right day. If it weren’t for the planchet flaw/ strike through it would have gotten a gold sticker.

@DeplorableDan Went to have a look at your site - Nice!

A minor issue, I see, is trying first to go there by using the URL link on your signature and that does not go to your site at least for me. It just goes again to the same topic to the top.

Bump- all of my inventory is now listed on Numismy, which is essentially a fee-free ebay dedicated to coins. Really looking forward to see the growth of the platform, I'm a big fan.

I just checked out the site and my problem is that you have to create an account to just to able to view the coins.

I just called Ethan and he said had it set up like that to keep out riff raff, so no one would harass the sellers.

I just talked him about this and explained how it would be better if people could at least peruse the sites offerings before they have to make an account, and he said he would change it to that. Will be effectives later tonight, check later and let me know when you’re able to view the coins.

I wish you luck on the new site (Numismy), but at this time I can only see obverse images with a price. Don't coins usually come with a reverse, too? I am hesitant to register for a plethora of websites, so this one might not be for me.

    Tom,
I did register with this site.
Once logged in all you do is click the obverse photo and the reverse photos shows up along with a full slab photo.

So I go to Numismy and register. I’m looking through the coins and the first one I see that catches my eye, albeit wayyyy outta my price range, but is just so dang eye appealing I wanna see more, is….. one of yours Dan! 🤣
Go figure. You got an eye my man! 👍🏻

I registered but didn’t put a phone number, nor address and it let me create an account. I’m good with that.
