Jack Nicklaus card

Hey, I'm wondering if anybody knows anything about this card I have. From what I can gather thru googling, it is possibly from 1979 and the signature on it (not real auto) is the artist Jim McQueen. I saw one article calling it the "Honus Wagner" of golf cards because there have only been 17 or so graded. No, I don't believe it is Honus Wagner level... but it does have me curious because I've never seen another one and even finding anything online has been tough.
ps. the apparent smudges/discoloration is on the plastic. Thank you, any help would be appreciated!

A quick search of sold items on ebay shows this to be potentially his rookie card.

Oh wow. I don't remember ever seeing a Palmer, but this has been unseen for 30+ years itselft, so I will have to check the rest of the collection.

That's a very cool card and I love the artwork. Looks like it's every bit from the 70s too. Even if it's not worth a lot it is still very cool. Nice pick up.

@BBBrkrr , Its something my dad picked up at some point and has been in my card collection ever since. Not sure of the story of how/where he came across it, but I agree, its a pretty cool card.
