Got this nice 1942 Proof 1C the other day

Very happy with this one, good contrast but I'm not sure if the fields are deep enough to consider Cam.

    Great pickup! It seems like you have not yet added it to your high ranked 1942 Proof Set?

    Thanks! it is still raw and I don't have a group of coins to send it in with yet. It does appear to be a nicer example than the PR65/CAC coin that is currently in my set but I have yet to do a side by side comparison.

    Beautiful proof, congrats on the CAM. Out of curiosity, how did you come across this coin raw? It's always interesting to me when great coins pop up that haven't been slabbed.

    I found it on eBay as a buy it now. I don't think I saved the seller photos.
