Who else on ebay sells David Kahn like rare quality coins ?

Bought several coins from David Kahn on ebay.. excellent quality.. Wondering who else sells an excellent quality & mix of fresh coins from Bust Halves to Franklins?

Agreed, find the coin on eBay and see who’s selling it, go to their website and call them on the old fashioned telephone and work out a deal you are both satisfied with. Without eBay fees most dealers will offer a better price.

Dave is a friend of mine, great guy. He works the road hard looking for nice coins to offer. Although over the past few years, he has gotten to the point where more and more people seek him out to offer coins to him directly.

Yes, I discount 3% if you buy direct because it only save 5-6% or less if I avoid ebay fees and what is the advantage to me of giving the full 5% to the customer?

Works for some, not all.
I tried that with Coast2coast a handful or so years ago, didn't even mention ebay at first, and they wouldn't budge. Coin was priced same on ebay as it was on their website...and was high priced anyway. I tried 2 or 3 times, then tried again on another coin a few months later, and they never budged. I gave up. Watched coin sit there for a year before it wasn't there anymore.

So, some will, and some won't. Sadly

No disadvantages...but in addition to the "happy customers", by giving that 5% to the customer for going direct and NOT giving to ebay, you also negate the ebay "forced return" if someone wants to play any games.
