I did have to type in your handle into the "Recipients" box, which is different than usual.
Did you miss your annual membership fee again? 😉

In our private group thread your messages are seen twice.

When you go to a user page and click the "Message" link, you see a page that looks like the image below. It used to be that the user name was auto-populated into the "Recipients" box, but now it is not, for some reason. You have to type it in.
Even when I start typing, it’s not auto populating like it used to and if you type out the whole thing and hit “send” it still won’t work. Try to send one to me and you’ll see what I mean.

OK, now it won't work for me, either. I get this error screen:

I figured out what was wrong. You do have to manually put the name you want to send to, but I kept using the @ sign in front and it said "you must choose at least one recipient". When I typed it without the @ sign, it worked, however, I had tried that earlier today and got that same error message.

There's a button you click and a brand new ASE will come out of your CD tray, it has a 3 day cooldown though.
You're out of luck if your device doesn't support physical media anymore.

And responding to Dan, mine doesn’t work even if I insert the @ manually.
Try going to their profile and clicking "message". It should let you bypass the PM glitch.

I tested it out on you, and it still makes you manually input the name and only lets you message one person at a time.
