The Official Foreign Coin/Object in Circulation Thread
![CRHer700](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/I5QGBH4R6KHM/n4IJSNC1HX4MG.jpeg)
I see a lot of foreign coins in the rolls that I go through, and I assume that a lot of other people do to, so, if you find one, or a random object(e.g. guitar pick, play money, plastic disc) in circulation in the U.S.(or U.S. in other countries for those who live out of country) post it here.I’ll bet that we can find some great stuff.

How about this micro-SD card that I found the other day in a dime roll:![](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/editor/bp/9c2je5nbctyh.jpeg)

When silver coins circulated, I often found Canadian dimes and (fewer) quarters in my change. This was in the SF Bay area.
The typical foreign selection from what I've seen but the SD card is interesting and worth a dime, if you can reuse it and COPY Lincoln cent is pretty neat. I've never seen one before.
I did reuse the SD card, I put my files that relate to coins on it. I also have a copy dime that matches the cent.

In a dollar coin roll. I have now found at least one foreign coin in every denomination of US coins.

Aside from washers and the occasional token, I have found an 1896 1/12 Anna from India in a dime roll.
Custom album maker and numismatic photographer, see my portfolio here: (http://www.donahuenumismatics.com/).
Some years back, I received an 1865 three cent nickel love token as a dime when getting change at a toll booth. It has an ornate 'B' engraved on the clean reverse.
I grew up in Detroit when silver was still circulating. Canadian coins were so common in circulation I had WHitman albums for the 1, 5, 10 and 25 cent pieces. All the local coin shops sold them.
99% of my foreign coins came from friends and family. I did get ripped off in a card game when someone slipped some Mexican Pesos past me. If that counts as circulation. James

I believe those "Copy" coins were frequently made for use in toy cash registers. I've seen a few slipped into change over the years.

These are most of the foreign coins and weird object I have found while CRH the last few years. The US and Canadian coins I remove. However, the strangest 2 finds were 46 quarters in a 40-coin quarter wrapper. and a James Madison presidential dollar in a roll of quarters.
