The alloys in pennies trained me not to mess around with reactive surfaces of those same alloys and the higher ones.

We’ll do the opposite also.

    They are mislabeled all the time.

    Edit: In hindsight, that isn’t necessarily a good thing.

    I would imagine that most collectors of this hobby hold a nostalgic place in their heart for the Lincoln Cent. Most started with those albums(be nice to know how many Lincoln Cent Albums have been sold compared to all others). I know I did and still have many old torn apart Whitman blue albums. And a few of the Meghrig green albums. I believe this is what makes the Lincoln Cents so collectible. That and the fact you can collect for free with cent rolls or parking lot finds to some extent.

    Over the last 9 months, quite a few us here on the forum have
    participated in a fun project. Whitman cent folders were filled
    by forum members. Folder 1 filled rather quickly due to
    the generosity of two members donating several of the keys.
    Folder 2 was much easier with no real keys to stop us. Now
    folder 3 is getting underway. I was able to meet with and have
    lunch with @jesbroken. I would not have had this pleasure
    if not for the Lincoln cent. We're planning on another get
    together, hoping other forum members will join us.
