My 1923 Peace $ 5 coin MS61-MS65 set

A cool little pci set. I've never seen a 1923 pci ms60 or ms66.

    That 95% white designation didn't age well....

    Neat set.
    The 61 and 62 and 63 look better than their grades.

    Trivia:
    Three of the above are old holder PCIs.
    Two are not.
    Can you spot which is which and why?

    I would guess it has something to do with the fonts of "MS" but definitely not positive about that.

    Do you happen to know date ranges on when they were hollered by the label?

    The "6" in the grade is the easiest way of telling along with the "9" in the date.

    Also the "a" font within 'mintage' is different.

    The MS61 and 62 and 64 were graded between 1986 and 1989/90- mostly.

    Ahh yes, that is a very obvious difference in the numbes font.

    Most times seller- per eBay's policy- will white out the grade in the photo of these coins and it is then
    I depend on looking at the "a" font within 'mintage'.
