I absolutely love struck thru errors that add to the design of the coin. I have many.
My favorites are on $50 One Ounce Gold American Eagles.
Here is my newest addition which is one of the largest struck thru errors that I have seen on a one ounce gold coin.

Nice! Is there something going on at the obverse rim around 7:00? or is that a more mundane strike/handling effect?
oh, I see that now. oops, my bad.
The slab was scratched, so I use a coat of oil on the slab to get rid of the scratches. What we are seeing are small air bubbles that are acting like small lenses distorting the area that they are in.
That's pretty darn wild!
