Fake 1855 seated half on eBay

The seller told me that he asked a dealer about the coin and the dealer said it was OK and even offered to buy it. I laughed - I've read that several dozen times from eBay crooks. BUSTED! I've reported him. Could others please do so as well. Someone could lose several hundred dollars on this ripoff.

"This is a great Semi key date that looks like it might have been cleaned or polished."

Are you thinking it is a counterfeit?
I honestly would like to know what your issue is with the auction as I am not seeing it.
(If it is blazingly obvious then yes- I'll be embarrassed, yet still think it is worth the question.)

Sharpness of the stars, and the eagles head are the two more obvious tells. Other than that, the surfaces look ridiculous.

Of note several of the obverse stars point to the wrong spot and the reverse details are actually comical:

Those claws and arrows are terrible.
I can't believe on first blush it had me fooled.
Seeing this counterfeit next to a genuine coin wakes up all the senses.
