How Many Series in the 1955 Topps Baseball Set?

Does this set consist of two (2) series …series #1 cards #1-160 and the high series cards #161-210?

    I believe there were three, but there is not certainty on where series 2 begins and ends. See link to net54 post below. Perhaps there is new information since that post

    I am not aware of any Topps Series larger than 110 cards from 1952 through 1969 so I am pretty certain there were three Series in 1955. I think they started using 132 cards in a Series in 1970.

    There is a 1955 Topps Baseball Cello Pack PSA-6 (2nd Series) which is the Koufax/Killebrew RCs series in a Golden Auction ending in about 2 1/2 weeks. I dropped out at $11,000. This is the reason that I was asking about the number of series along with card numbers in each series. A very cool pack...only seven (7) graded by PSA.

    Very cool but where do you see it designated as 2nd series?

    The numbers of the two cards showing are between 111-160, and thus place the pack in Series #2 based on the info provided in this thread. Therefore, I deduced that it is a Koufax (#123)/Killebrew (#124) RCs Series.

    I’ve always been under the impression 1-160 was series 1, with 150-160 being slightly short-printed.

    Backbidder sent a link providing info on net54 indicating that there are 3 Series' in 1955 Topps set: #1-110, #111-160, and #161-210.
