He guest starred on the seventh episode of Dukes of Hazzard ("Dukes Meets Cale Yarborough") but what is REALLY surprising is that for a show like this, they had no other race car drivers of any kind make cameo guest appearances!!

RIP
One of the good old boys. Miss those old time racers. Condolences to fans, friends, and family.
RIP. One of the best to ever do it, the Golden age, I wish NASCAR was still like that today.
I love these old stories from the good old days, Jeff Hammond was a mechanic for Cale Yarborough's team back in the day, as well as Darrell Waltrip's crew chief for two of his three championships. Anyway, this is a good little yarn about Waltrip and Yarborough.
I can remember fist fights between myself and my cousins on who got to use Cale Yarborough's car...
I was busy with women and the 70’s but he’s a NASCAR icon. RIP
