Odd coin embedded table found at town dump -

I started to toss out an old mint set box once. i was removing anything from the boxes that looked like something collectible. One box had what appeared to be a gold foil insignia for the Australian mint but when I carefully cut it free of the box I was surprised to find it was ~ 3/4 once 10k gold "medallion". Now that's collectible.

If any of those coins can easily be removed without damage I would pull it out and see what is under it.

It looks home made to me and likely from a sewing machine table.
