found 2 wide rim 1979 SBAs

going through my Aunt's stuff. Well what do you know, they're out there after all!

. They are both xf/au. Is there a premium for these over face or only if UNC? Just curious. One is going tinto my collection , the other I carefully pointed out to her.

If they aren't BU I would doubt that there'd be much of a premium.

A small premium... not sure what, a couple bucks extra each maybe. Ask Draco, I guess.

I've managed to find three or four AU myself. I remember some speculation awhile back, that as the last of the SBA's were released there could possibly be a dramatic increase in near dates, as they were among the last to be struck (the die modification occurring late in 1979.) I've gone through quite a few SBA's and so far I'm not seeing any dramatic increase, for what it's worth.
